dc.description.abstract	O conceito de lugar assume na arquitetura um papel fundamental, sendo o fator responsável pela atribuição de valor e identidade ao construído. Porém, é possível verificar várias vezes que ele é discriminado e a obra surge sem qualquer respeito com a envolvente e com a cultura do lugar. Neste sentido, a presente dissertação procura aprofundar conhecimentos relativamente ao conceito em estudo e como este é de extrema importância no âmbito da arquitetura, culminando numa proposta de uma casa que simultaneamente responde às necessidades do lugar e aos interesses do autor e que se encontrará inserida num terreno de cariz natural localizado na freguesia de Telhado, concelho de Vila Nova de Famalicão. O lugar, o construído e o habitar fundem-se harmoniosamente. A casa eleva-se ao ponto de se tornar parte da natureza resultando num todo onde se estabelece uma relação de simbiose com o elemento orgânico intocável e virgem.	por
dc.description.abstract	The concept of place takes on architecture a strong importance being the responsible for the attribution of value and identity to the built. However, it is possible to verify several times that it is discriminated and the work appears without any respect with the surroundings and the place culture. In this sense, the present thesis tries to find knowledge about the concept under study and how much it is of extreme important in a architecture, culminating in a proposal of a house that will at the same time gives an answer to the necessities of the place and the interests of the author and that will be inserted in a natural field located in Telhado, Vila Nova de Famalicão. The place, the building and the inhabited fuse harmoniously. The house rises to the point of becoming part of nature resulting in a whole where the built is established in a relationship of symbiosis with the organic untouched and virgin element.	eng
