Neste documento descrevemos todo o percurso no estágio curricular supervisionado, realizado
na Escola Secundária Campos Melo e na Escola Internacional da Covilhã, no âmbito do 2º Ciclo
de estudos em Ensino da Educação Física nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário da Universidade da
Beira Interior (UBI).
Neste documento daremos a conhecer toda a planificação, procedimentos, estratégias e
reflexões sobre a intervenção e a observação pedagógica, descrevendo ainda a nossa
participação nas diversas atividades extracurriculares e de interação com o meio escolar,
promovidas ao longo do ano letivo 2016/2017.
O segundo capítulo do documento inclui um estudo científico de natureza descritiva, que
procurou analisar a relação existente entre o sucesso escolar e o nível de aptidão física dos
estudantes, recorrendo a amostra de estudantes adolescentes de ambos os sexos (n=45,
alunos do ensino secundário do curso de Ciências e Tecnologias da Escola Secundária Campos
Melo). O sucesso escolar foi calculado recorrendo às classificações oficiais dos estudantes nas
diferentes disciplinas no final do 3º período. Os dados da aptidão física incluem avaliações
morfológicas, de força e de flexibilidade. Os resultados encontrados sugerem que não há uma
correlação significativa entre a aptidão física e o sucesso escolar.
In this document we describe the entire course in the supervised curricular stage, held at the Campos Melo Secondary School and at the Covilhã International School, within the scope of the 2nd cycle of studies in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education of the University of Beira Interior (UBI). In this document we will present all the planning, procedures, strategies and reflections about intervention and pedagogical observation, also describing our participation in the various extracurricular activities and interaction with the school environment, promoted during the 2016/2017 school year. The second chapter of the document includes a scientific study of a descriptive nature, which sought to analyze the relationship between school achievement and the students' physical fitness level, using a sample of adolescent students of both sexes (n = 45, secondary course of Science and Technology course at Campos Melo Secondary School). School success was calculated using the official classifications of students in the different disciplines at the end of the 3rd period. Physical fitness data includes morphological, strength and flexibility assessments. The results suggest that there is no significant correlation between physical fitness and school success.
