Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação tem como tema a elaboração de um projeto prático de
arquitetura que consiste na reabilitação da casa Pina Falcão e dos três edifícios anexados
ao lote. Nesse sentido, será criado um centro cultural, uma habitação unifamiliar, três
residências artísticas, uma sala de exposições, uma loja, um café e percursos pedonais
acessíveis. Com isto, o objetivo é promover o enriquecimento cultural e artístico entres
os artistas e o público, e criar uma dinâmica que atraia cada vez mais vida para Mação.
O centro da vila de Mação encontra-se bastante desabitado, já que grande parte
dos edifícios se encontram devolutos ou abandonados. A casa Pina Falcão é
provavelmente o edifício habitacional mais emblemático da vila, visto que tem uma
arquitetura de inspiração romântica que é única na zona. Para além disso, os Maçaenses
têm uma enorme ligação à casa.
Um dos principais objetivos é fazer com que esta intervenção seja pensada numa
perspetiva que tenha em conta o interesse geral, tanto o da família residente, como o da
população. A procura de uma harmonia entre ambos é fundamental para o bom
funcionamento do programa arquitetónico.
This dissertation has as its theme the elaboration of a practical architectural project that consists of the rehabilitation, restoration and construction of the Pina Falcão house and the three buildings attached to the lot. Therefore, will be the construction of a cultural center, a single-family house, three artistic residences, an exhibition hall, a shop, a café and accessible footpaths will be created. With this, the objective is to promote cultural and artistic enrichment between artists and the public, and to create a dynamic that attracts more and more life to Mação. The center of the village of Mação is quite uninhabited, as most of the buildings are vacant or abandoned. The Pina Falcão house is probably the most emblematic residential building in the area, as it has a romantic style architecture that is unique in the area. In addition, the Maçaenses have a huge connection to the house and its symbolism. One of the main objectives is to ensure that this intervention is thought of in a general plan, both for the resident family and for the population. The search for a symbiosis between them is fundamental for the proper functioning of the architectural program.
