Resumo(s)
Este relatório resulta do estágio curricular realizado na Lavaria do Zinco da Boliden SOMINCOR e teve como objetivo avaliar a eficácia do planeamento das operações de manutenção das bombas centrífugas de polpa de eixo horizontal, equipamentos críticos para o processo produtivo do zinco. A metodologia adotada combinou uma análise qualitativa, através do acompanhamento direto das equipas de manutenção, e uma análise quantitativa, baseada no tratamento e estudo de dados operacionais de 35 bombas recolhidos com recurso a ferramentas como Microsoft Excel e SAP. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam uma predominância de manutenções de caráter periódico e preventivo, face a intervenções com substituição ou reparação crítica de componentes, refletindo-se numa alocação de recursos que poderá ser otimizada. Verificou-se também um desfasamento entre as horas planeadas e as horas reais de operação, associado a limitações nos registos operacionais e a constrangimentos logísticos e físicos das instalações. Em conclusão, a análise realizada permitiu identificar oportunidades claras de melhoria ao nível do planeamento e execução das manutenções, destacando a importância de reforçar o controlo operacional, melhorar a coordenação entre departamentos e agilizar processos logísticos e administrativos, com vista a uma maior eficiência e fiabilidade do sistema de manutenção.
This report is the result of a curricular internship at Boliden SOMINCOR's Zinc Plant and aims to assess the effectiveness of maintenance planning for horizontal shaft centrifugal slurry pumps, critical equipment for the zinc production process. The methodology adopted combined a qualitative analysis, through direct supervision of the maintenance teams, and a quantitative analysis, based on the processing and study of operational data from 35 pumps collected using tools such as Microsoft Excel and SAP. The results show a predominance of periodic and preventive maintenance, rather than interventions involving the replacement or critical repair of components, reflecting an allocation of resources that could be optimised. There was also a discrepancy between planned and actual operating hours, associated with limitations in operational data and logistical and physical constraints at the facilities. In conclusion, the analysis made it possible to identify clear opportunities for improvement in terms of maintenance planning and execution, highlighting the importance of strengthening operational control, improving coordination between departments and streamlining logistical and administrative processes, with a view to greater efficiency and reliability in the maintenance system.
