As rádios locais actuais são o resultado de um processo evolutivo iniciado em 1989.
Para além da natural evolução técnica registada nestas quase duas décadas, as grandes
mudanças políticas, sociais e económicas no país também marcaram as rádios locais. Neste
trabalho procuramos identificar as principais alterações no funcionamento das rádios locais
portuguesas desde 1989, ano em que foram legalizadas.
Para realizar este estudo foram analisadas as respostas aos questionários enviados a
rádios locais de todo o país. Ao mesmo tempo foram entrevistadas duas personalidades
envolvidas na criação das rádios e na sua legalização. Com estas informações foi possível
verificar as principais alterações ocorridas ao longo destes quase 20 anos nas rádios locais.
The actual local radios are the result of one evolutive process that has began in 1989. Beyond the natural technical evolution verified in these almost two decades, the big political, social and economical changes have also distinguished the local radios. In this work we try to identify the most important changes in the working process of portuguese local radios since 1989, when they were legalized. To realize this study, were analysed the answers of the questionnaires sent to local radios from all the country. At the same time, were interviewed two personalities who were involved in the creation of the radios and in their legalization. With these informations it was possible to verify the principal changes occurred along this almost 20 years in the local radios.
