Este relatório tem como finalidade apresentar o processo de criação do filme
Passing Light, projeto final de mestrado em Cinema da Universidade da Beira
Interior. Objetivando explorar, para além do conteúdo fílmico, a produção
deste projeto, este documento pretende tratar, sobretudo, de questões de
realização, som e fotografia e, a partir destas visões, refletir sobre os temas e
ideias presentes na curta-metragem.
O filme enquadra-se na temática do existencialismo, buscando explorar os
pensamentos e interrogações do autor sobre a morte e a impermanência, temas
que mergulham profundamente na condição humana, confrontando-nos com a
efemeridade da vida e a inevitabilidade do desaparecimento, abordando
obervações sobre o significado da existência e a importância de viver
plenamente, mesmo diante destas circunstâncias universais.
This report aims to present the process of creating the film Passing Light, the final master's project in Cinema at the University of Beira Interior. Aiming to explore, in addition to the filmic content, the production of this project, this document aims to deal, above all, with issues of filmmaking, sound and photography and, based on these views, reflect on the themes and ideas present in the short film. The film fits into the theme of existentialism, seeking to explore the author's thoughts and questions about death and impermanence, themes that delve deeply into the human condition, confronting us with the ephemerality of life and the inevitability of disappearance, addressing observations about the meaning of existence and the importance of living fully, even in the face of these universal circumstances.
