Abstract(s)
programa preliminar do concurso, o “Edifício Anexo”, localizado, aparentemente, no
utilizadores.
In Expansion of (our) Headquarters, it is intended to produce a critical reflection, which consists into the development of a practical project and the writing of a descriptive and explaining memory, to respond to the Contest for the expansion of the headquarters of the "Ordem dos Arquitetos", promoted by the latter. Its architectural composition consists of two independent buildings: the “Sede de São Paulo” Building, the headquarters building, located in Lisbon, dating from 1868, which experienced its last restoration by the Architects Manuel Graça Dias and Egas José Vieira, inaugurated in 1994 and the second building, the “Edifício Anexo”, as it is called in the preliminary contest program, located in the back area of the Headquarters building, which has experienced some modifications and deterioration over the years, resulting in the removal of part of the coverage, as a preventive measure. The intervention will focus on the "Edifício Anexo", beginning from the contest memoranda, where it is desired to establish a purpose within the space to intervene, which is in a bad state of conservation, taking into account all the stipulations both for its location and its past history as it is classified as a Property of Public Interest, designated by "Lisboa Pombalina". This project intends to transpose the beforehand known set of information, promoting and valuing the building, as a whole, through the conception of new spaces, with public and private natures, providing new experiences to its possible users.
