Abstract(s)
No setor Terciário é o Kanban. No setor quaternário é o VSM.
This paper aims to analyze the benefits of the tools of the Lean Manufacturing philosophy in relation to two variables: economic activity sector and company size. For this, a bibliographic survey of the benefits of Lean Manufacturing was carried out through the literature review with analysis segmented by economic activity domain and Company Size category. The bibliographic databases of Scopus were used, which is a grouping of references of scientific articles or references of documents, to make the bibliographical survey, obtaining a database related to the topics and specific information to be searched. A careful analysis was made of all of them, based on the choice of 5 parameters: 3 of them are mandatory: economic activity or company size, the tool used and the efficiency obtained through the same tool, and two The industry and the implementing country or territory in order to remove the information needed to answer the questions asked in the research questions. A total of 381 documents were analyzed: 187 by economic sector and 194 by company size. When applying the Lean tools, 114 documents of variable 1-by economic sector and 163 documents of variable 2-by company size were discarded and 73 documents of variable 1 and 31 documents of variable 2 were analyzed. In the secondary sector the most used tool is VSM followed by JIT. In the tertiary sector it is the Kanban. In the quaternary sector it is the VSM. By size, VSM is the most widely used tool in small and medium-sized enterprises and JIT in large enterprises.
