Abstract(s)
Tem-se como principal objetivo da presente dissertação o desenvolvimento de uma proposta de arquitetura para um novo quartel de bombeiros na cidade da Covilhã, onde este documento se apresenta como um enquadramento geral do tema definido como “Arquitetura de Socorro”, bem como uma memória descritiva e justificativa do desenvolvimento do projeto.
A necessidade da proposta advém das lacunas apresentadas pelo atual edifício que alberga a corporação dos bombeiros voluntários da cidade, desenvolvendo-se assim um novo espaço que permita responder às diversas condicionantes. que um edifício destinado à prestação de socorro, deve apresentar. Para tal, torna-se imprescindível desenvolver um conjunto de premissas morfológicas e tipológicas, que se traduzem em espaços funcionais que permitem reduzir o tempo de resposta, traduzindo-se num aumento da produtividade dos bombeiros.
A zona de intervenção escolhida, embora apresente um declive assinalável, permite acessos rápidos a toda a zona de intervenção do Corpo de Bombeiros, fator crucial para a escolha, e onde se valorizam os espaços exteriores, que complementam os volumes propostos sem nunca afetar a funcionalidade dos mesmos.
Com este efeito, desenvolve-se uma proposta que engloba as diferentes fases do projeto de arquitetura, a qual se complementa com uma memória descritiva e justificativa das opções adotadas.
The main objective of this dissertation is the development of an architectural proposal for a new fire station in the city of Covilhã, where this document is presented as a general framework of the theme defined as "Relief Architecture", as well as a descriptive memory and justification of the project development. The need for the proposal comes from the gaps presented by the current building that houses the volunteer fire company of the city, thus developing a new space to respond to the various conditions. which a building intended for the provision of relief must present. For this, it is essential to develop a set of morphological and typological premises, which translate into functional spaces that allow reducing the response time, resulting in an increase in the productivity of firefighters. The chosen intervention area, although presenting a remarkable slope, allows quick access to the whole area of intervention of the Fire Department, a crucial factor for the choice, and where the exterior spaces are valued, which complement the proposed volumes without ever affecting the functionality of the same. With this effect, a proposal is developed that encompasses the different phases of the architecture project, which is complemented with a descriptive memory and justification of the adopted options.
