Abstract(s)
Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as significações que foram produzidas em relação às
atletas durante a cobertura dos Jogos Olímpicos de 2016 pela Revista AzMina e pelo
GloboEsporte.com. Com este fim, foram selecionadas 16 matérias, sendo oito da mídia
feminista e oito da mídia convencional, compreendendo o período de 1 de junho a 21 de
agosto de 2016. A metodologia adotada integra a Análise de Conteúdo. Como base teórica,
empregou-se os estudos de esporte, mulher e corpo, proposto por Jorge Dorfmann Knijnik;
corpo e poder, por Michel Foucault, e Cultura da Convergência, defendida por Henry Jenkins.
A questão-problema do trabalho interroga quais as principais diferenças de abordagem entre
os meios de comunicação convencional e o engajado com o feminismo quando o foco é a
mulher como atleta. Por meio das leituras das publicações e da concretização do objetivo
proposto, foram constatadas diferenças, assim como também certas similitudes, expostas
após o referido enquadramento teórico.
The aim of this piece is to analyze the content that was produced by AzMina Magazine and GloboEsporte.com concerning the coverage of the athletes during the 2016 Olympic Games. To do that 16 subjects were selected, eight from the feminist media and eight from the conventional or mainstream media. They cover the period from June 1. to August 21. 2016. The used methodology is Content Analysis . Therefore the theoretical basis is provided by: “ Woman and bodys studies ” proposed by Jorge Dorfmann Kinjnik; “ Body and power ” by Michel Foucault and “ Culture of Convergence ” advocated by Henry Jenkins. The assumption of this work questions the different approaches between the conventional media and the one concerned with feminism, whenever the focus is on women as athletes. Throughout the classification of the material many differences were dicovered, as well as some similarities.
