Ser professor é um dos maiores privilégios, em toda a sociedade. Entender que tipo de educação temos hoje e quais os novos desafios, tem de ser uma preocupação para todos os actores da educação. Vivemos numa velocidade que quase não conseguimos acompanhar. Consumimos para viver e vivemos para consumir. Este é um ciclo para o qual os alunos têm de estar preparados, para que possam intervir e, no futuro decidir o seu rumo, o rumo de todos nós. Surge assim a questão de investigação:
Qual a influência das novas tecnologias na educação em geral e no ensino das artes em particular? Pergunta que lança todo o trabalho resumido nestas folhas.
Autores como Sir Ken Robinson defendem um novo paradigma para a educação. Vale a pena analisar se este está a mudar, se já mudou ou se precisa mesmo de ser mudado! As disciplinas de Desenho Assistido por Computador e Design, Multimédia e Audiovisuais foram a base para este estágio. Revelaram-se boas referências para cruzar as novas tecnologias e os novos media com o ensino das Artes Visuais.
Being a teacher is one of the greatest privileges in society. Understanding what kind of education we have today and which are the new challenges should be a concern of all the educational intervenients. Nowadays, we live with a velocity that we can barely follow. We consume to live and live to consume. This is a situation for which students should be prepared to, so that they can intervene and decide their future and ours. The reason for this investigation is related to these ideas: Which is the influence of the new technologies in general education and the teaching of arts in particular? This is the question that launches all the work summed up in these pages. Authors like Sir Robert Robinson support a new paradigm for education. It is worth analyzing if it has already changed, it is changing or if it really needs to be changed! The subjects of computer-aided design, Design, Multimédia and Audiovisuals were the basis for this teaching practice. They proved to be good references to mix new technologies and new media with the teaching of visual arts.
