| dc.description.abstract | Introdução: A Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 tem uma prevalência de aproximadamente 13,3% em Portugal e grande impacto pessoal e social. É fundamental cumprir o tratamento para o sucesso terapêutico. Contudo, a adesão terapêutica estima-se em cerca de 60% e reconhecem-se fatores sociodemográficos e da doença que a influenciam. Também a confiança no médico é tida como preditor de maior adesão. Materiais e métodos: Realizou-se um estudo observacional descritivo nos diabéticos tipo 2 da USF Terras de Azurara em Mangualde, entre dezembro de 2017 e janeiro de 2018.Aplicou-se um questionário sociodemográfico, a escala MAT e a escala de confiança no médico. Resultados: Após emprego dos critérios de exclusão e inclusão obtiveram-se 29 respostas. Os participantes eram na maioria mulheres (51,7%), casados (75,9%), com o 1º ciclo (62,1%), reformados (72,4%), seguidos pelo atual médico há 1 a 2 anos (58,7%), com mais de 5 consultas realizadas com este (51,7%) e sob antidiabéticos orais (72,4%). A duração média da doença foi de 9 anos e a hemoglobina glicada média de 6,9%. Na avaliação da adesão obteve-se uma pontuação média de 5,83 em 6. Nenhum dos fatores avaliados se correlacionou com a adesão, havendo, no entanto, correlação entre algumas características e questões constituintes da escala. Uma esmagadora maioria (96,6%) possui confiança elevada no médico. Conclusões: A adesão referida pelos diabéticos é elevada e possivelmente sobrestimada. Não foi possível determinar fatores influenciadores, nem o papel da confiança no médico. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus type 2 has a prevalence of approximately 13.3% in Portugal and great personal and social impact. It is essential to comply with the treatment for therapeutic success. However, therapeutic adherence is estimated at about 60% and sociodemographic and disease factors that influence it are recognized. Also, trust in the doctor is considered a predictor of greater adherence. Materials and methods: A descriptive observational study was performed on Type 2 diabetics at the USF Terras de Azurara in Mangualde, between December 2017 and January 2018. A sociodemographic questionnaire was applied, the MAT scale and the physician confidence scale. Results: After using the exclusion and inclusion criteria, 29 responses were obtained. The participants were mostly women (51.7%), married (75.9%), the first cycle (62.1%), retired (72.4%), followed by the current physician 1 to 2 years ago (58.7%), with more than 5 consultations (51.7%) and oral antidiabetics (72.4%). The mean duration of the disease was 9 years and the mean glycated hemoglobin was 6.9%. In the evaluation of adhesion, an average score of 5.83 was obtained in 6. None of the evaluated factors correlated with adhesion, however, there is a correlation between some characteristics and constituent issues of the scale. An overwhelming majority (96.6%) have high confidence in the doctor. Conclusions: The adherence reported by diabetics is high and possibly overestimated. It was not possible to determine influencing factors nor the role of trust in the physician. | eng |
