Abstract(s)

In a journalistic article we come across the textual construction that seeks to capture the attention of the reader and provides as much information as possible. Photojournalism reinforced this connection: the use of images related to the text reinforces the knowledge to the theme, as well as reinforces proximity ties. Photography is seen as a visual record of an event, being used by the press to represent reality. Potentially informative, editors and even readers have resisted your persuasion for a long time. Currently the rivalry passes by who has the best photography. Speed, quality and quantity are now characteristics that photography has been reaching among consumers. The point of study of this work is related to the analysis of photoreports made by Jornal do Fundão. This newspaper stands out in the interior region by the extension of regions covered in its pieces. It will be through the analysis of the photographs in the Great Themes of this same newspaper that will be known the main characteristics of the photojournalism in the interior. Jornal do Fundão also has an online platform, which will be analyzed in order to find differences and similarities.
