Considerando o horário, a
No
The present dissertation has as main objective to reflect on the children's programming in lusophony. Configuring itself as a case study, the dissertation analyzes in particular the program “Recreio Infantil”, by Radio Malanje, in Angola, and tries to understand if it follows the model of children programming identified in four Lusophony countries: Brazil, Cape Verde , Mozambique and Portugal. The research problem is directly linked to the identification of the characteristics of children's programs issued in Lusophony countries. Considering as variables the time, periodicity and typology of contents, we ask to what extent the program “Recreio Infantil” follows the Lusophony children's programming model. To answer the problem of this work, we began by making a theoretical review focused on the evolution of radio and children's programming in this medium. In the theoretical framework we explore concepts related to the typology of programs, the diversity of content, but also the tastes and preferences of the children's audience. In the second part of the work we sought out, through an analysis of children's programming in Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique and Portugal, to identify aspects that allow us to talk about a programming model for Lusophony. The empirical work was based on documentary research, but also on ethnography, with participant observation in the studios of Rádio Malanje, as well as semi-structured interviews with the “Recreio Infantil” program realization team. The collected data not only allowed us to answer the research question, as we concluded that Radio Malanje does not follow the children's programming model of the Lusophony countries analyzed, but also helped to collect data on the potential of radio as a tool for educommunication and support for teaching, particularly through the Distance Learning modality.
