Abstract(s)
Nos últimos anos Portugal tornou-se um dos principais destinos turísticos da Europa.
Milhares de turistas são atraídos pela diversidade das paisagens naturais e atividades
culturais oferecidos pelo país. Graças a essa visibilidade e demanda de serviços, o
governo português tem investido em políticas de incentivo ao crescimento e
diversificação do setor turístico. Como exemplo das novas modalidades turísticas a
serem exploradas pelo setor, vemos uma crescente procura pelo turismo de campo, ou
turismo rural, que apesar de ainda não ser muito explorado, demonstra um grande
potencial económico e pode ser um fator diferencial principalmente nas zonas do centro
do país. Este nicho específico de turismo atrai um perfil de turistas que visam
experiências diferenciadas, que lhes permitam fugir da agitação dos centros urbanos, e
desfrutar de atividades e ambientes que os ponham em contacto com a natureza. O
turismo rural é uma modalidade de Turismo de Natureza, que apresenta um forte
carácter sustentável e ecológico, e que oferece essa imersão com o meio ambiente. Assim,
este de tipo de empreendimento visa uma arquitetura que reflita esses mesmos valores,
primando pela utilização de materiais locais e sustentáveis, bem como a execução de
sistemas construtivos alternativos que acarretam um menor impacto na natureza. Neste
trabalho apresenta-se a proposta de implantação de um “Eco Glamping”, desenvolvido
com uma estrutura em bambu, nas margens da barragem da freguesia de Bouça Cova,
localizada no distrito de Pinhel, o “Bamboo Glamping”.
In the last years Portugal has became one of the main tourist destinations in Europe. Thousands of tourists are attracted by the diversity of natural landscapes and cultural activities offered by the country. In consequence of this visibility and demand for this kind of services, the Portuguese government has been investing in policies, to encourage the development and diversification of the tourism sector. Like the new forms of tourism to be explored by the sector, we see an improvement in the demand for rural tourism. Although is not much explored, it demonstrates a great economic potential and can be a differential factor, especially in the central areas of the country. This kind of tourism attracts a specific profile of tourists, in search of differential experiences, which allow them to escape from the stress of urban centers and enjoy activities and environments that put them in touch with Nature. Rural tourism has a strong sustainable and ecological character, which offers this immersion with the natural environment. Thus, this type of enterprise aims for an architecture that reflects these same values, prioritizing the use of local and sustainable materials, as well as the implementation of alternative construction systems, which result in a lower impact on Nature. In this work it will be presented a proposal to implement a Eco Glamping, developed with a bamboo structure, on Bouça Cova, located in the district of Pinhel, the "Bamboo Glamping".
