Recentemente o número de coletivos de techno queer vem crescendo dentro da cena
underground, uma vez que estamos vivendo em uma era de explosão musical através da
experimentação, onde estar em contato com a música em um ambiente seguro cria espaços
para conexões e o exercício da liberdade de expressão criativa. A música e a moda por
muitos anos eram voltadas para uma sociedade disciplinar-autoritária, onde o acesso a tais
formas de arte era específico da sociedade heterossexual binária compulsória privilegiada e
consumida em locais elitizados. A revolução musical, juntamente com a revolução de
consumo transformou o comportamento do indivíduo que passou a buscar pelo seu novo
eu, uma nova identidade, uma forma de se teletransportar para outro lugar dentro do seu
imaginário. Para a comunidade LGBTQIAP+ a experimentação da liberdade em se vestir
como preferir, dançar e agir como quiser tornou-se possível apenas dentro de espaços
seguros e ambientes criados para encorajar as minorias através da experimentação criativa
à entrarem em contacto com todas as formas de arte. A cultura musical e a expressão pela
moda foram fatores que em sua sinergia acompanharam o início do Fashion Queer
underground e da cultura de baile, que mais tarde se propagou e ganhou força por meio de
coletivos queer, conectando pessoas que se sentiam parte de uma comunidade, mas ao
mesmo tempo criavam e moldavam o seu novo eu personalizado de forma livre, atingindo
o auge de sua transformação e cristalização de sua identidade. Através de um estudo
exploratório, esta pesquisa teve por objetivo estudar o comportamento e conceitos criados
dentro dos coletivos underground de Lisboa, o que serviu como base para o
desenvolvimento de uma tabela que relaciona a moda e a música dentro do processo de
expressão de liberdade criativa, o qual contribui para a representatividade da comunidade
LGBTQIAP+. Além disso, os resultados desse processo nos da uma visão de um quadro geral
onde a mensagem desses coletivos já foi absorvida e onde precisa ser amplificada, se
concretizando através do fortalecimento e divulgação de uma única plataforma digital de
artistas queer.
Recently the number of techno queer collectives has been growing within the underground scene as we are living in an era of musical explosion through experimentation, where being in touch with music in a safe environment creates space for connections and the exercise of creative freedom. Music and fashion were for many years focused on a disciplinary authoritarian society where access to these forms of arts was used by the privilege binary straight society and consumed in elite places. The musical revolution among with the consumer revolution transformed the behavior of an individual who began to search for their new self, a new identity, a way to teleport to another place within their imagination. For the LGBTQIAP+ community experiencing the freedom to dress as you like, dance and act as you wish became possible only within safe spaces and environments created to encourage minorities through creative experimentation to get in contact with all forms of art. Musical culture and fashion expression was factors that in its synergy accompanied the beginning of the underground Fashion Queer and the ball culture, that later spread and gained strength through queer collectives, connecting people who felt part of a community but at the same time created and shaped their new self-free personalized self-reaching the height of their own transformation and crystallization of their identity. Through an exploratory study this research aimed to study the behavior and concepts created within the Lisbon underground collectives with served as the basis for the development of a table chart that relates fashion and music within the process of expression of creative freedom, which contributes to the representation of the LGBTQIAP+ community. Besides this the results of this project give us the vision of a general framework where the message of these collectives has already Benn absorbed and where it needs to be amplified through the strengthening and dissemination of a digital platform for queer artists.
