O presente relatório de projeto descreve a conceção e realização da animação
intitulada Matiz, refletindo particularmente o estudo em torno das cores e das emoções
associadas a cada uma delas. Este trabalho teve por base a revisão bibliográfica sobre a
cor na cultura, bem como a análise de várias animações, sobretudo experimentais.
Conhecer melhor o universo da cor, tornou-se vital para o projeto, uma vez que esta
constitui um elemento marcante quer da nossa vida, em geral, quer do campo da arte e
do design. Por outro lado, não podemos esquecer que a vertente emocional é igualmente
de suma importância, e devemos pensar na emoção como um conceito que se equipara à
razão, como procuramos evidenciar neste texto.
Este relatório articula-se em três capítulos: no primeiro, é feito um
enquadramento teórico, onde são explorados os conceitos de cor, emoção e animação,
conhecimentos fundamentais para a elucidação da parte que se segue; no segundo, as
protagonistas da animação Matiz, as cores, são apresentadas individualmente e
analisadas de acordo com o seu significado; no terceiro e último capítulo, relata-se a
realização do próprio projeto, sendo neste momento que se descreve e analisa o processo
de criação da animação Matiz.
This project report describes the conception and production of the animation entitled Matiz, particularly reflecting the study around colors and the emotions associated with each of them. This work was based on a bibliographical review on color in culture, as well as the analysis of several animations, mainly experimental. Knowing the universe of color better became vital for the project, as it constitutes a striking element both in our lives, in general, and in the field of art and design. On the other hand, we cannot forget that the emotional aspect is equally extremely important, and we must think of emotion as a concept that is equivalent to reason, as we seek to highlight in this text. This report is divided into three chapters: in the first, a theoretical framework is made, where the concepts of color, emotion and animation are explored, fundamental knowledge for the elucidation of the part that follows; in the second, the protagonists of the animation Matiz, the colors, are presented individually and analyzed according to their meaning; In the third and final chapter, the creation of the project itself is reported, at which point the process of creating the animation Matiz is described and analyzed.
