Abstract(s)
A elaboração deste documento teve como objectivo a análise da viabilidade da
reutilização de contentores marítimos com o propósito da sua conversão em espaços
habitáveis.
Numa primeira fase, pretendeu-se fazer uma pequena exposição sobre o actual
panorama a nível mundial da construção associada à recuperação e transformação de
contentores marítimos.
Posteriormente, passando de um contexto mais vasto para um mais estrito, procurouse
analisar a viabilidade da construção de uma moradia unifamiliar de dois pisos a
nível nacional. Na elaboração das diferentes especialidades houve a preocupação de
chamar à atenção das principais diferenças em relação a um projecto típico construído
em betão armado. Também houve algum cuidado na análise do enquadramento de
um projecto deste tipo face à legislação existente.
Por fim, foi desenvolvido um levantamento de dados e subsequente estudo comparado
tendo em vista o apuramento de um valor de construção por metro quadrado
expectável.
Como conclusão, e tendo por base os dados apurados neste trabalho, pode-se afirmar
com alguma segurança que o reaproveitamento de um recurso existente (contentores
marítimos) associado à implementação de um sistema de construção que é rápido,
rigoroso e economicamente atractivo, poderá facilmente conduzir à criação de um
interessante e novo nicho de mercado.
The preparation of this document had as goal the analysis of the feasibility of shipping containers reuse with the purpose to their conversion into habitable spaces. In a first phase. it was pretended to make a small presentation on the current situation on the global construction associated to the recovery and processing of shipping containers. Subsequently, passing from a broader context for a more stringent one, it was tried to analyze the feasibility of building a single house of two floors at the national level. In developing the different specialties there was the concern to call the attention of the main differences compared to a typical project built in reinforced concrete. There was also some caution in the analysis in the framework of a project of this kind against the existing legislation. Finally, a data survey was made and a subsequent comparative study of it to find an expected value of construction per square meter. As conclusion, and based on the findings in this study can be stated with some certainty that the reuse of an existing resource (container shipping) associated with the implementation of a system of construction that is fast, accurate and economically attractive can easily lead to create an interesting and new market niche.
