Abstract(s)
A Equipa que o autor chefia, a Equipa de Programas e Apoio Técnico (EPAT) do
Centro Distrital de Segurança Social da Guarda, são-lhe constantemente
solicitados dados, pela Direcção e por outras áreas sectoriais, sobre informações
relacionados com o seu conteúdo funcional. No entanto, não existe em
funcionamento nenhuma aplicação que permita fazer uma gestão de toda a
informação necessária ao bom funcionamento da EPAT. Assim, a presente
Dissertação resulta da necessidade da criação de uma aplicação, que permita
responder às necessidades de trabalho da EPAT, e pretende ser uma mais-valia
para os serviços da Segurança Social, aumentando a eficiência e produtividade
dos Serviços Públicos prestados. Antes de construir a aplicação, foi realizada uma
pesquisa sobre as possíveis ferramentas a utilizar em aplicações deste tipo. Em
seguida, com base nas ferramentas identificadas, foi realizado um estudo de
mercado a empresas Portuguesas, da área da Programação, com o objectivo de
identificar as ferramentas mais utilizadas, para construir aplicações orientadas
para a Web e saber os motivos da escolha dessas ferramentas. Para complemento
ao estudo de mercado realizado às empresas, foi elaborado ainda um estudo
adicional, nos principais portais de emprego em Portugal, para identificar quais as
linguagens e ferramentas mais solicitadas pelas empresas, no recrutamento de
Programadores para esta área. Pretende-se com os resultados dos estudos
realizados, identificar claramente as ferramentas mais usadas, as suas
características principais e no final, com informações sustentáveis, concluir e
escolher aquelas que melhor se adaptam às necessidades e objectivos da aplicação
a criar para a EPAT.
The team that the author is leading, the Team of Technical Support and Programs (EPAT) in the Social Security of Guarda, is constantly asked to provide data to the Administration of Social Security and other areas, about related information. However, there is no running application that allows managing all the information necessary for the proper functioning of the EPAT. Thus, this dissertation results from the need of creating an application that allows the needs EPAT's work, and want to be a value-added services to Social Security, increasing the efficiency and productivity of public services provided. Before building the application, a search was conducted on the possible tools to use in such applications. Then, based on tools identified was conducted a market study the Portuguese companies in the field of programming, with the aim of identifying the most used tools to build applications targeted for the Web and know the reasons for choosing these tools. In addition to market study, was also prepared an additional study in the main portals of employment in Portugal, to see which languages and tools are most requested by companies in recruiting programmers for this area. With the results of the previous studies, intend identify more clearly the tools used, their main characteristics and in the end with information sustainable, deduce and choose those, that best suit the needs and objectives of the EPAT application to create.
