A presente dissertação encontra-se dividida em dois capítulos, relativos às vertentes de
investigação e Farmácia Comunitária. O primeiro capítulo faz alusão à investigação
desenvolvida no âmbito da conservação de medicamentos termolábeis disponíveis em
Portugal. Este estudo teve como objetivo a elaboração de um manual contendo informação
sobre a conservação de medicamentos termolábeis e quais os procedimentos que devem ser
realizados perante alterações na cadeia de frio, a via de administração e estabilidade após
fabrico dos mesmos. Uma vez que podem ocorrer alterações na cadeia de frio ou
congelamento é importante que esteja disponível informação atualizada e de fácil acesso,
relativa à correta conservação dos medicamentos, para que os farmacêuticos possam atuar
o mais rápido possível e de forma adequada perante estas situações.
O segundo capítulo descreve as competências adquiridas e atividades desenvolvidas
durante o estágio em Farmácia Comunitária, na Farmácia Ferreira, em Moimenta da Beira,
decorrido entre o dia 22 de fevereiro e o dia 2 de julho, sob orientação da Dr.ª Elisabete
Lopes Carvas.
This dissertation is divided into two chapters, related to research and Community Pharmacy. The first chapter alludes to research carried out in the context of the conservation of thermolabile drugs available in Portugal. This study aimed to prepare a manual containing information on the conservation of thermolabile drugs and which procedures should be performed in the face of changes in the cold chain, the route of administration and stability after their manufacture. Since there may be changes in the cold chain or freezing, it is important that up-to-date and easily accessible information is available on the correct conservation of medicines, so that pharmacists can act as quickly and appropriately as possible in these situations. The second chapter describes the skills acquired and activities developed during the internship in Community Pharmacy, at Farmácia Ferreira, in Moimenta da Beira, which took place between February 22nd and July 2nd, under the guidance of Dr. Elisabete Lopes Carvas.
