Abstract(s)
A Este trabalho trata da História da Língua Portuguesa na Península Ibérica desde o
período pré-românico até a formação e consolidação do Português como língua
autônoma. Enfatiza aspectos linguísticos e extralinguísticos responsáveis pela evolução
da língua nas suas diversas fases. Aponta a relevância do estudo da História da Língua
no universo acadêmico das Letras e áreas afins. Destaca o contributo d’Os Lusíadas,
de Luís de Camões, para o enriquecimento e desenvolvimento da língua. Discorre sobre
a perene evolução da língua e aponta alguns casos contemporâneos de provável
mudança linguística. Na Metodologia de pesquisa aplicada ao trabalho opta pelo
método indutivo. Sob o ponto de vista da natureza usa a pesquisa aplicada. Na forma
de abordagem do problema usa a pesquisa quantitativa e bibliográfica. O perene devir
da língua permeia todo o trabalho motivado por eventos diversos, tanto linguísticos
quanto extralinguísticos. Conclui que as constantes interações dos falantes com a
língua obrigam-na a funcionar e a mantêm viva.
AThis paper broaches the History of Portuguese Language in the Iberian Peninsula from the pre-Romanesque period to the generation and consolidation of Portuguese as an autonomous language. It emphasizes linguistic and extralinguistic aspects liable for the evolution of the language in its miscellaneous phases. It points out the relevance of the study of the History of Language in the academic universe of Languages and alike areas. It highlights the contribution of Os Lusíadas, by Luís de Camões, to the language enrichment and development. It discusses the perennial evolution of language and alludes to some contemporary cases of probable linguistic change. The research methodology applied to this paper uses the inductive method. From the point of view of nature it uses applied research. In approaching the problem, it uses quantitative and bibliographic research. The perennial becoming of the language permeates all the paper, motivated by different events, both linguistic and extralinguistic. It concludes that the speakers' constant interactions with the language force it to subsist and keep it immanent.
