Abstract(s)
Durante o 6º ano do curso de Medicina desenvolvi esta Dissertação de Mestrado que, no âmbito do bloco do mesmo nome, consiste numa monografia e tem como título “Um Olhar Psicanalítico sobre a Identidade de Género”. Com base no título da dissertação, os objetivos passarão por apresentar a abordagem da Psicanálise, bem como de alguns dos seus pioneiros, à construção da identidade de género pelo indivíduo e, ao mesmo tempo, expor as tentativas de explicação psicanalítica das alterações a esta identidade, que resultam em conceitos tão atualmente discutidos como transsexualidade e transgénero, por exemplo; as quais serão discutidas ao longo desta dissertação, sob um olhar psicanalítico sobre a identidade de género.
During the sixth year of medical school, i developed a Master's Thesis that, under the same name’s block, consists of a monograph titled "A Psychoanalytic Look on Gender Identity". Based on the title of the dissertation, the objectives will cover the Psychoanalysis’ approach and some of its pioneers, the construction of gender identity for the individual and, at the same time, expose attempts to psychoanalytic explanation of the changes to this identity that result in concepts as currently discussed as transexuality and transgender, for example; which will be discussed throughout this dissertation, from the point of view of a psychoanalytical study on gender identity.
