| dc.description.abstract | Pretendemos neste trabalho determinar a riqueza dinâmica que se obtém das funções contínuas na reta com determinados pontos periódicos. É apresentado um teorema que a rma que funções contínuas na reta com pontos periódicos de período três têm pontos periódicos de qualquer período. Seguidamente, apresentamos uma generalização deste resultado - O Teorema de Sharkovsky - que fornece uma ordenação dos inteiros em que a existência de um ponto periódico de um certo período p para uma função contínua na reta garante a existência de qualquer período q desde que a ordem desse período q seja maior do que a ordem de p. Finalmente, são apresentadas formas de reciprocidade do Teorema de Sharkovsky. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Our goal in this work is to determine the richeness of dynamics obtained from continuous functions in the real line with periodic points of a certain period. It will be presented a theorem that states that continuous functions on the real line with periodic points of period three have periodic points of any period. After that we generalize this result - Sharkovsky's Theorem - which provides an order of integers in which the existence of a periodic point of a certain period p to a continuous function on the real line guarantees the existence of any period q since the order of this period q is greater than of the order p. Finally, it will be presented some ways of reciprocity of the Sharkovsky's Theorem. | |
