Abstract(s)
É uma presente realidade a necessidade que os alunos do curso de arquitectura da
Universidade da Beira Interior têm de um espaço de trabalho que funcione 24 horas. É
também um facto, a falta de sensibilidade estética e consciência ecológica que o actual
espaço denominado “Pólo de Arquitectura” apresenta.
Perante estes factos, esta dissertação visa o estudo e a reabilitação do edifício Paulo
Oliveira, qualificando-o de modo a que ofereça um espaço de qualidade e responda às
necessidades dos alunos de arquitectura. Do mesmo modo, esta dissertação propõe tornar
o edifício mais sustentável, aproveitando os recursos naturais que lhe são disponibilizados.
It is a present reality the need of the students of architecture at the University of Beira Interior have an workspace that works 24 hours. It is a fact, the lack of aesthetic sensibility and ecological awareness that the current space called "Pole of Architecture" presents. Given these facts, this dissertation objectives to study and the rehabilitation of the Paulo Oliveira building, it qualifies a way that provides a quality space and meets the needs of students of architecture. Similarly, this dissertation proposes to make the building more sustainable, using the resources available to it.
