| dc.description.abstract | Um designer de moda desenvolve uma coleção segundo diferentes parâmetros e métodos de criação. Este trabalho é desenvolvido de forma a se enquadrar ao ADN da marca, sendo feito de acordo com a estética da casa e desenvolvido para o seu público-alvo. Nas diferentes coleções que os designers vão apresentado ao longo dos anos e das estações, estes têm que se reinventar constantemente para apresentarem novas coleções que obedeçam às regras acima mencionadas. Ao longo do tempo, diversas marcas apresentaram os mesmos temas e inspirações, mas na sua maioria dos trabalhados, de formas diferentes e com uma estética diferente umas das outras. Um dos temas que já foi apresentado por criadores várias vezes é o terror. Sendo o terror um tema muito abrangente, esta dissertação focou-se na influência do cinema de terror na moda. Contextualizou a história do terror aprofundando-a no cinema e analisou historicamente o uso de terror na moda. Serão apresentadas noções de intertextualidade uma vez que esta é a ligação do terror e da moda que esta dissertação assume, complementado por estudos de casos com análises a nível intertextual de coleções que se inspirem em filme de terror. Analisaram-se trinta e quatro (n=34) coleções de moda entre a década de 1990 e a atualidade, fim de compreender o fenómeno e a sua expressão no design de moda internacional. Por fim, foi elaborada uma coleção inspirada em diversos filmes de terror e que se enquadrou na dinâmica intertextual estudada. | dc.description.abstract | A fashion designer develops a collection according to different parameters and creation methods. This collection is developed in order to fit the brand's DNA, being done in accordance with the house's aesthetics and developed for its target audience. In th e different collections that designers are presenting over the years and seasons, they have to constantly reinvent themselves to present new collections that comply with the rules mentioned above. Over time, several brands presented the same themes and ins pirations, but most of them worked in different ways and with a different aesthetic from each other. One of the themes that has been presented by creators several times is horror. As horror is a very wideranging theme, this dissertation concentrates on th of horror cinema on fashion. e influence It was taken in analyse the history of horror, especially in the cinema world and historically investigated the use of horror in fashion. Notions of intertextuality will be presented, since this is the link between horror and fashion that this dissertation assumes, complemented by case studies with analyses at the intertextual level of collections that are inspired by horror films. Thirtyfour (n=34) fashion collections from the 1990s to the present were analysed in order to understand the phenomenon and its expression in the international fashion design. Finally, a collection inspired by several horror films and which fit the studied intertextual dynamics was created.
