Abstract(s)
a) o estado da arte;
portugueses TVI, CNN Portugal e canal V+.
divulgados?”
This document intends to understand the role of styling in communication and the construction of identities in the media industry, with a particular focus on television. The document is structured into two distinct parts: a) the state of the art, b) description of all work carried out during the curricular internship. All analysis will be structured and based on theoretical foundations The state of the art enables the initiation of a study in which the similarities and differences between the themes of the selected articles are analyzed (L. M. M. de Sousa et al., 2018). This document not only analyzes the state of the art but also demonstrates how the concepts were applied (or not) during the internship period, as well as how their application is validated. The state of the art comprehends concepts about styling in television, analyzed and structured in accordance with my three-month internship experience in the Portuguese television channels TVI, CNN Portugal, and V+ channel wardrobe department. This analyze coherent and theoretical substantiated allows a better and deep understanding of why the television environment follows certain rules and purposes. Therefore, there will always be a connection between the theoretical framework and real-life cases experienced during this period, providing a clearer perspective on the importance of styling on the identity construction and communication. Subsequently, a questionnaire answered by some of the company's employees will be analyzed, supported by a methodological foundation. General and specific objectives to be achieved will also be defined. The research question determines the crucial focus of this investigation. It serves as the first step in exploring a topic, gathering answers for a deeper understanding of the specific subject, which is: “How does style help to develop visual communications, connecting viewers with the content being shared?”
