Abstract(s)
O objetivo dessa investigação é analisar as publicações nos portais online dos jornais franceses Le Monde e Le Figaro no que diz respeito a Proibição do Burkini. Os decretos da proibição ocorreram em várias praias da costa francesa no verão de 2016. O Burkini é um traje de banho que cobre o corpo da mulher da cabeça aos pés, deixando a mostra apenas o rosto, e que geralmente é usado por mulheres muçulmanas.
Na primeira parte da dissertação foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica que pôde servir de embasamento teórico e direcionar a uma conclusão científica. Foram escolhidas teorias do jornalismo e também das ciências sociais, como a Teoria do Agenda-Setting, o Pós-estruturalismo e o Pós-colonialismo. Na parte empírica foram selecionadas 47 notícias no total, 22 do Le Figaro e 25 do Le Monde, e como método de foi usado a Análise de Conteúdo. A investigação busca conscientizar o meio acadêmico e profissional sobre a importância das notícias diárias sobre a opinião pública, assim como perceber quais são os seus vícios, nocivos na construção da notícia. E assim sugerir aos leitores que façam uma análise não só da situação noticiada mas também de como está sendo noticiada.
The main objective of this dissertation is to analyse the online publications relative to the Burkini Ban of two newspapers in France: Le Monde and Le Figaro. Those prohibitions happened in many beaches at France cost in the summer of 2016. The burkini is a swimsuit that full cover from the head to the feet the women’s bodies, leaving the face exposed. This swimming suit is used commonly for muslims women. On the first part of this dissertation, a bibliographic research was done, and was used as a theorical base, guiding to a cientific conclusion. Journalism and Social science theories were use: Agenda-setting theory, post-structuralism and post-colonialism. On the impirical part, 47 news were selected from both newspapers, and Content analysis was used as method of research. This paper tries to aware the academic and professional instances of the volume of importance that the daily news has on the public opinion and get to know what are the harmful vices on the news construction. And than, sugest to the readers to analyse not only the news, but how the news is being given to de public.
