Abstract(s)
abrange todas as experiências e atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio realizado no
turma, as atividades extracurriculares realizadas e a participação ativa no Desporto
Escolar.
No segundo capítulo, "Investigação e Inovação Pedagógica", o objetivo do projeto
Além disso, a
This This document results from the completion of the Pedagogical Internship Curricular Unit, integrated into the second year of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). This report covers all the experiences and activities developed during the internship carried out at the Campo Maior School Group (AECM), throughout the 2023/2024 academic year. The report is structured into two main chapters. The first chapter, entitled "Pedagogical Intervention", details all the pedagogical work carried out, from planning to evaluation, for students in the 2nd and 3rd Cycles and Secondary Education. This chapter also addresses the roles performed in class management, extracurricular activities carried out and active participation in School Sports. In the second chapter, "Research and Pedagogical Innovation", the objective of the research project was to evaluate the effectiveness of Physical Education classes in improving students' functional fitness, as well as to analyze the differences in results between students who practice sporting activities also outside the school context. The assessment instrument used was the application of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) test battery at the beginning of the 2nd period and in the middle of the 3rd period, allowing the comparison of results. The results of this study suggest that Physical Education classes contribute to improving students' functional fitness, albeit in a modest way. Regular practice of specific exercises, such as those assessed by the FMS, can be a crucial factor in developing students' physical fitness. Furthermore, promoting an active lifestyle, which includes practicing physical activities outside the school environment, can further enhance these benefits.
