Abstract(s)
Neste sentido, a presente dissertação
constituintes do SN.
24 anos.
The nominal syntagma (NS) in Angolan Portuguese system presents some variants with explicit plural -s and others with variant zero -0. In this case, this dissertation analyzes the agreement of number in the NS in the oral productions of Angolan Portuguese speakers, from the perspective of the Variationist Sociolinguistic theory developed by William Labov (1972), according to which the language is heterogeneous, sustaining that it cannot be studied in isolation, but rather considering the relations between linguistic structures, social and cultural aspects in their actual use, which are marked by changes. Thus, sociolinguistic data and a corpus were collected, constituted from interviews with 33 informants in order to investigate and analyze linguistic and extralinguistic variables that condition the presence/absence of formal plural marks in the constituents of the NS. The choice of informants was motivated by the fact that they were also speakers of an autochthonous language, aged 12 and 24 years old.
