Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como finalidade abordar as experiências dos deputados jovens
participantes no programa Parlamento dos Jovens de Portugal (PJP) (edição 2018/2019),
bem como entender por meio de suas autoperceções o que os levaram a participar do
programa. Deste modo, visa entender, quais os resultados dessa ação educativa na sua
participação política, na sua formação cívica e no engajamento cívico. A metodologia
envolve a aplicação de questionário contendo análises quantitativas e qualitativas, por
meio de técnica de análise de conteúdo e de inferência estatística simples. Os resultados
obtidos através das análises efetuadas apontam que a experiência dos deputados jovens
através da participação no programa PJP desenvolveu a participação política cívica e
democrática dos jovens, bem como colaborou na compreensão da vida política no
parlamento, e consequentemente, desmistificou o funcionamento do parlamento
ajudando-nos a compreender melhor este programa.

The results obtained through the analyzes carried out show that the experience of young deputies through participation in the PJP program developed the civic and democratic political participation of young people, as well as collaborating in the understanding of political life in parliament, and consequently, demystified the functioning of parliament by helping us to better understand this program.
