Abstract(s)

The objectives are to characterize the content produced for mobile devices from the comparison of the characteristics of webjournalism, but also try to see that changes that have suffered the content to adapt to the new reception devices and identify new features arising from this adaptation. The study of mobile devices in the field of journalism is justified for two fundamental reasons. First, because they assume a prominent role to act at all stages of the news process, from production to consumption of information. Secondly, because mobiles phones, and particularly smartphones, are the media more quickly grew, currently reaching penetration rates of around 100 %. To contextualize the phenomenon are discussed topics such as the journalistic genres, specialized journalism, the phases and characteristics of webjournalism and mobile devices, as well as the concepts of convergence, mediamorphosis, remediation and transmedia. Applications analysed were LiveSoccer, FootStats and GloboEsporte.com. With them, we seek to understand how the narratives are constructed and offered to the user who seeks a real-time information and verify that elements are replicated content on the web and which are adapted to the devices. The results obtained allow us to certify that the webjournalism features are present in most of the analysed content, but there is still a long way to go. It also notes that some potential offered by technical characteristics of the smartphone, such as GPS, the accelerometer or the camera are not used in geolocation or augmented reality (AR), only leave two examples.
