Abstract(s)
A temática habitacional é e será sempre um tema recorrente, tanto na sociedade
como na arquitetura. A habitação é um bem essencial à vivência individual e social do
ser humano e um direito consagrado pelo Artigo 65º da Constituição da República
Portuguesa: “Todos têm direito, para si e para a sua família, a uma habitação de
dimensão adequada, em condições de higiene e conforto, e que preserve a intimidade
pessoal e a privacidade familiar”.
Assim, a presente dissertação consiste na apresentação de um projeto de
reconstrução do bairro social Francisco Simões, inserido em contexto urbano, no
concelho de Vila Nova de Famalicão, distrito de Braga. Neste projeto, o bairro social é
constituído por vinte habitações sociais e uma área de apoio comunitário. A questão da
habitação social é um assunto muito delicado, uma vez que é destinado às famílias
carenciadas e com baixos recursos económicos, sendo este o único suporte facultado para
maximizar as condições das suas habitações. As habitações foram projetadas com base
em questionários realizados aos moradores do bairro e presidente da junta de freguesia,
bem como através da análise do estilo de vida e tipo de convivência entre os moradores.
Segundo o conceito de habitação social, esta não deve ser simplesmente um
conjunto de aglomeração de casas, em que a principal motivação seja oferecer o maior
número de fogos possíveis, pois assim não estaremos a zelar pelo estado espírito das
pessoas. As habitações sociais devem sempre satisfazer as necessidades da população. O
esforço no sentido de produzir um instrumento de análise sobre as necessidades sociais
em termo de moradia, apresenta-se como uma iniciativa para a formulação de uma base
de parâmetros necessários na localidade sobre a questão da habitação. Esses parâmetros
de necessidade, por sua vez, são baseados nas condições que o bairro apresenta, nas
experiências e rotinas dos seus moradores, que serão os fundamentos do projeto
destinado a satisfazer as necessidades do habitar.
The housing theme is and will always be a recurring theme, both in society and in architecture. Housing is an essential asset to the individual and social experience of the human being and a right enshrined in Article 65 of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic: “Everyone has the right, for themselves and their family, to adequate housing, in conditions of hygiene and comfort, and that preserves personal intimacy and family privacy ”. Thus, the present dissertation consists of the presentation of a project for the reconstruction of the Francisco Simões social district, inserted in an urban context, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, district of Braga. In this project, the social district consists of twenty social housing units and a community support area. The issue of social housing is a very delicate issue, since it is aimed at families in need and with low economic resources, this being the only support provided to maximize the conditions of their housing. The houses were designed based on questionnaires made to the residents of the neighborhood and president of the parish council, as well as through the analysis of the lifestyle and type of coexistence among the residents. According to the concept of social housing, this should not be just an agglomerated number of houses, in which the main motivation is to offer the largest possible number of houses, as this way we will not be watching over the people's state of mind. Social housing must always satisfy the needs of the population. The effort to produce an analysis instrument on social needs in terms of housing, presents itself as an initiative for the formulation of a base of parameters needed in the locality on the issue of housing. These need parameters, in turn, are based on the conditions that the neighborhood presents, on the experiences and routines of its residents, which will be the foundations of the project aimed at meeting the needs of the inhabitants.
