Dar a conocer el tratamiento
lexicográfico del lemario del DiCCA-XV a lo largo
de la tradición diccionarística española es uno de
los objetivos del presente artículo. Para ello, se ha
estudiado detalladamente, tanto el conjunto de la
obra lexicográfica académica, como los
diccionarios de lengua castellana ―monolingües,
bilingües y trilingües― que han sido considerados
más relevantes. Después de categorizar la totalidad
de lemas que contiene el DiCCA-XV trataremos
aquellos no documentados en la actualidad por la
RAE. Obtenemos tres grandes subtipos ―(1) voces
recogidas por la RAE ausentes en la actualidad, (2)
voces no documentadas en la RAE, pero sí en otros
diccionarios y (3) voces sin documentación
lexicográfica― y se presentarán, a lo largo de
estas páginas, aquellas no consideradas en la
actualidad por la Academia (1) y que aparecieron
en alguna edición anterior. Intentar descubrir
razones de esta omisión es nuestro objetivo
principal.
The purpose of this article is to present the lexicographic treatment of the DiCCA-XVLemarie throughout the Spanish tradition of dictionary-writing, focussing our research efforts on both the complete body of academic lexicographical works and on the most preeminent Spanish language dictionaries themselves, whether monolingual, bilingual or trilingual. After having categorized all the headwords contained in the DiCCA-XV we will work with those not documented today by the RAE. There are three major subtypes ―(i) those recognized by the RAE but absent today, (ii) those not recognized by the RAE, but found in non-academic lexicography, (iii) and those not found in any lexicographic work― we will take a close look at those words in the first sub-group. This exercise brings us to our main objective: to find the reasons behind omissions in academic documentation.
