Com este trabalho pretende-se em primeiro lugar fazer uma revisão da literatura acerca do Surrealismo e do Sagrado. Averigua-se a temática do Surrealismo como um movimento iniciado por André Breton, a presença do
Surrealismo em Espanha, o confronto de Dalí, Buñuel e Lorca com o Surrealismo, as manifestações artísticas do sagrado na cultura europeia e algumas representações da figura sagrada no Surrealismo.
Seguidamente, numa parte mais empírica, analisam-se as representações do sagrado em algumas obras de Dalí, Buñuel e Lorca, reflecte-se brevemente sobre o sagrado de Dalí, Buñuel e Lorca e se o objectivo com a figura sagrada era a aproximação a Deus.
Por fim, conclui-se que as representações do sagrado em Dalí, Buñuel e Lorca são maioritariamente vítimas nas mãos de uma sociedade corrupta. Cada um imagina-o à sua maneira, sob a imagem que o deseja ver. Neste sentido, o sagrado pode ser tudo. Não se consegue descobrir. Ele é a verdade que não se conhece, uma realidade que não se percebe.
At first, this work is intended to make a review about the Surrealism and the Sacred. I will examine the theme of Surrealism as a movement initiated by André Breton, Surrealism presence in Spain, the confrontation of Dali, Buñuel and Lorca with the Surrealism, the artistic manifestations of the sacred in European culture and some representations of the sacred figure in Surrealism. On the next part, I will analyze the representations of the sacred in some works of Dalí, Lorca and Buñuel, reflect briefly about the sacred of Dalí, Buñuel and Lorca and if the objective with the sacred figure is to get closer to God. Finally, we conclude that the representations of the sacred in Dalí, Buñuel and Lorca are mostly victims in the hands of a corrupt society. Each one imagines the sacred on his own way, under the image that someone want to see. In this sense, the sacred can be everything. You can’t discover it. The sacred it’s the true that we don’t know a reality that we don’t understand.
