Este artigo é uma breve introdução ao estado da arte do conceito
superveniência. Apresenta as definições principais do conceito –
superveniência fraca, superveniência forte e superveniência global – e
analisa algumas das relações lógicas entre as mesmas. Apresenta alguns
refinamentos contemporâneos à definição de superveniência global.
O artigo termina com algumas considerações a respeito dos conceitos
dependência e reducionismo.
This paper is a brief introduction to the state of the art on supervenience. It presents the main definitions – weak supervenience, strong supervenience and global supervenience – and it analyses some of the logical relations between them.
