Barahona Possolo assume um papel aparentemente anacrónico na paisagem plástica portuguesa, já que a sua pintura assume um realismo declarado, muitas vezes associado a linguagens visuais do passado. Pretende-se observar a vertente provocatória estruturada em representações sexualmente explícitas, na categoria soft-porn, enquadradas em contexto de apresentação pública, para conteúdos que possibilitam leituras múltiplas, especificamente na série All We Can Eat, de 2013.
Barahona Possolo assumes a seemingly anachronistic role in the Portuguese plastic landscape, since his painting assumes a declared realism, often associated with visual languages of the past.
