| dc.description.abstract | A Internet Ă© uma ferramenta que pelos seus elementos caracterizadores revolucionou a nossa vida. As redaçÔes dos jornais foram rapidamente invadidas por ela, integrando as suas vantagens, adaptando-se Ă nova realidade a que ela as expĂŽs e reinventando de certo modo a prĂłpria profissĂŁo do jornalista. O webjornalismo teve com esta ferramenta o seu advento e as redes sociais foram ajudando a moldĂĄ-lo atĂ© ele se transformar naquilo que hoje conhecemos. A realidade das redaçÔes regionais, ainda que nĂŁo tenham termo de comparação com as dos jornais nacionais, assistiu tambĂ©m a algumas modificaçÔes. Sendo a ambição de angariar novos leitores, a par da preocupação pela mais rĂĄpida transmissĂŁo da informação (e posterior acompanhamento do seu desenvolvimento) os principais motivos que levaram estes jornais Ă adesĂŁo ao jornalismo digital, este tambĂ©m veio facilitar contacto entre o jornal e a sua audiĂȘncia. Em quase uma dĂ©cada, os jornais regionais limaram algumas arestas, adaptaram-se a este novo jornalismo, colocando assim que possĂvel as redes sociais a âtrabalharâ em seu benefĂcio alcançando, ainda que nĂŁo muito significativamente, um pĂșblico mais vasto e alĂ©m disso, maiores vendas. A edição online dos jornais funciona sobretudo como complemento da edição impressa, continuando esta a ser, em termos regionais, o principal polo de atividade e negĂłcio. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The Internet is a tool that by its characterizing elements has revolutionized our life. Newspapers were quickly invaded by it, integrating its advantages, adapting to the new reality to which it exposed them and reinventing in a certain way the journalist's own profession. Webjournalism had with this tool its advent and social networks were helping to shape it until it becomes what we know today. The reality of the regional newsrooms, although they do not compare with the national newspapers, has also seen some changes. As the ambition to attract new readers, together with the concern for the fastest transmission of information (and subsequent follow-up of its development) the main reasons that led these newspapers to join digital journalism, this also facilitated contact between the newspaper and its court hearing. In almost a decade, regional newspapers have shed some edge, adapted to this new journalism, thus putting social networks as possible to "work" for their benefit, reaching, albeit not very significantly, a wider public and, moreover, higher sales. The online edition of the newspapers works mainly as a complement to the print edition, continuing to be, in regional terms, the main hub of activity and business. | eng |
