Abstract(s)
O trabalho que se segue tem como objetivo a identificação e classificação de um conjunto de tendĂȘncias que estĂŁo a afetar as cadeias de abastecimento e o seu impacte no desempenho das mesmas, tendo em conta um setor especĂfico da economia de Cabo Verde: IndĂșstria de Bebidas. Para alĂ©m da identificação e da classificação, tanto as tendĂȘncias como as medidas de desempenho em estudo foram analisadas de modo a que fosse possĂvel identificar a existĂȘncia de algum tipo de relacionamento entre elas e atĂ© que ponto poderĂŁo auxiliar os gestores responsĂĄveis a alcançar nĂŁo sĂł um melhor nĂvel de competitividade no mercado como ainda a melhorar o desempenho das cadeias de abastecimento na IndĂșstria de Bebidas. Para que tal fosse possĂvel foi realizada uma revisĂŁo de literatura que permitiu a identificação das tendĂȘncias e medidas de desempenho a serem apresentadas ao longo do trabalho. A classificação e a identificação do tipo de relação existente entre essas variĂĄveis (tendĂȘncias e medidas de desempenho) foram obtidas graças Ă realização de entrevistas a profissionais da ĂĄrea e acadĂ©micos com conhecimento do tema. Posto isto, foi utilizada a Metodologia ISM (Interpretive Structural Modelling) que foi Ăștil para a identificação das inter-relaçÔes existentes entre as variĂĄveis, facilitando a avaliação do desempenho das cadeias de abastecimento da IndĂșstria de Bebidas. Assim sendo, o uso da metodologia de ISM, em conjunto com o MĂ©todo de MICMAC (Matrix of Cross Impact â Multiplications Applied to Classification), auxiliou no agrupamento das variĂĄveis em anĂĄlise de acordo com o seu poder de influĂȘncia e de dependĂȘncia, facilitando na compreensĂŁo de qual das variĂĄveis tĂȘm mais influĂȘncia sobre as outras e quais as que sĂŁo mais influenciadas. Para concluir, foi possĂvel observar que as informaçÔes finais obtidas a partir da aplicação destes modelos servirĂŁo de base estratĂ©gica para que os gestores possam identificar quais as variĂĄveis que deverĂŁo ser o foco, de modo, a que seja possĂvel obter uma Cadeia de Abastecimento mais competitiva.
The following work aims to identify and rank a set of trends that are affecting the supply chains and also to identify their impact on the performance on the same, considering a specific sector of Cabo Verde economy: the Beverage Industry. In addition to the identification and ranking both, the trends and performance measures studied, were analyzed in order to make it possible to identify the existence of some kind of relationship between them and how far they can assist the managers in charge to achieve not only a better level of competitiveness in the market but also to improve the performance of supply chains in beverage industry. To make this possible it was carried out a literature review that allowed the identification of the trends and performance measures to be presented throughout this research. The classification and ranking of the type of relationship that exist between these variables (trends and performance measures) were obtained through the interviews with professionals and academics with knowledge on the subject. That said it was used the ISM Methodology (Interpretive Structural Modelling) which helped in the identification of existing inter-relationship between the variables, also supporting in the evaluation of the performance of Supply chains of beverage industry. Therefore, the use of ISM Methodology in combination with the MICMAC Method (Matrix of Cross Impact - Multiplications Applied to Classification) helped the grouping of the variables according to their dependence and driving power, facilitating the understand of which variables have more influence over the others and which are more affected. In conclusion, it will be observed that the final information obtained from the application of these models will serve as a strategic base so that managers can identify which variables they should be focus on so that it is possible to get a more competitive Supply Chain.
