Abstract(s)
A primeira parte do relatório parte
A investigação é dividida
finalizado. O relatório articula pensamento crítico e vivência pessoal, destacando a
This report aims to reflect on the creative and conceptual journey of the short film Laços Que o Tempo Não Rompe (2025), based on the central theme of space as a driver of the creative process in filmmaking and its subsequent narrative, poetic, and emotional analysis. The first part of the report is based on the director's testimony about his creative process for the film, starting from the space of Lagoa de Mira. The document then moves on to an in-depth theoretical reflection on cinematic space, exploring both its definition and the intersection between concepts and poetics. Space is analyzed in terms of scenery and landscape, understanding it as an active force in the construction of subjectivity and memory. Next, two case studies are presented as examples. The short film focuses on a young man who relives, in cyclical time, an afternoon spent with two friends, an experience that proves to be both literal and metaphorical, between life, death, and the persistence of affection and memory. The research is divided between the theoretical foundation of space in cinema and the creative and practical development of the project, from pre-production to postproduction, using the associated production methodologies. The report concludes with an in-depth analysis of the film and its aesthetic and narrative choices, drawing final conclusions from the completed project. The report combines critical thinking and personal experience, highlighting the creation of a cinema of contemplation, of dilated time, and of emotional expression. This document thus aims to present an artistic journey and a reflective contribution on the role of space in cinematic language.
