Neste trabalho, faz-se uma abordagem sobre o estudo da gestão do conhecimento na motivação dos colaboradores, com o objetivo de analisar o impacto de aplicação na empresa Mepisurfaces, Lda. Para o efeito, foram realizados estudos assentes na pesquisa descritiva, desenvolvido numa abordagem mista e com objeto de estudo de caso único, com dados recolhidos através de um inquérito por questionário, onde se obteve 202 respostas, o que constitui a amostra do nosso estudo. Os resultados obtidos, mostram que a gestão do conhecimento tem um impacto positivo e significativo na motivação dos colaboradores. Trazem várias implicações para as áreas da gestão do conhecimento e da inovação organizacional, pois, o estudo analisou um amplo conjunto de relações que ligam a gestão do conhecimento à motivação dos colaboradores, contribuindo assim, para uma melhor compreensão do papel mediador de vários aspetos da cultura organizacional. A pesquisa realizada, pretende contribuir para a prática de gestão das organizações, nomeadamente, nos aspetos ligados às políticas e práticas de gestão do conhecimento organizacional. Assim, ao organizar o conhecimento, torna-se mais fácil visualizar onde há oportunidades de evolução e quais modelos devem ser aplicados para maior impacto de crescimento e desenvolvimento dos colaboradores.
In this work, an approach is made on the study of knowledge management in employee motivation, with the objective of analyzing the impact of application in the company Mepisurfaces, Ltda. To this end, studies were carried out based on descriptive research, developed in a mixed approach and with a single case study object, with data collected through a questionnaire survey, where 202 responses were obtained, which constitutes the sample of our study. The results obtained show that knowledge management has a positive and significant impact on employee motivation. They bring several implications for the areas of knowledge management and organizational innovation, since the study analyzed a broad set of relationships that link knowledge management to employee motivation, thus contributing to a better understanding of the mediating role of various aspects of organizational culture. The research carried out aims to contribute to the management practice of organizations, notably in aspects related to organizational knowledge management policies and practices. Thus, when organizing knowledge, it becomes easier to visualize where there are opportunities for evolution and which models should be applied to have a greater impact on employee growth and development.
