O trabalho que se apresenta, trata de um estudo para solução de alargamento de uma ponte
metálica com viga treliçada do tipo “pratt”. Primeiramente aborda-se o desenvolvimento e
evolução das estruturas em aço ao longo dos tempos. São descritos alguns tipos de estruturas
treliçadas bem como algumas propriedades do aço estrutural.
Estuda-se a regulamentação em vigor nomeadamente o Eurocódigo 3 - parte 2, estruturas
metálicas pontes.
É feita uma analise à estrutura existente, onde se verifica a segurança dos seus elementos.
Despois de analisada a estrutura existente propõem-se três soluções estruturais para
alargamento da estrutura inicial.
Numa ultima fase analisa-se a segurança dos elementos para as três soluções propostas, onde
no final será escolhida a solução mais vantajosa tendo em conta vários aspectos.
The purpose of this research is to study a solutions for the enlargement of a metallic bridge with a “Pratt” type truss beam. First addresses the development and evolution of steel structures over time. Are described some types of truss beams, as well as some properties of the structural steel. Study the regulation in force, in particular Eurocode 3: Design of steel structures - Part 2: Steel bridges. It is done an analysis to the existing structure, where there is a security check over their elements. After the existing structure is analyzed it proposes three structural solutions for extending the initial structure. In a last stage it is analyzed the security of the elements for the three proposed solutions, which in the end will choose the most advantageous solution taking into account various aspects.
