| dc.description.abstract | O crescimento da população mundial, a sua relação com a procura de energia e a crise económica recente tornaram a eficiência energética um tema atual de grande importância. Principalmente no sector dos edifícios tornou-se necessário tomar medidas concretas por forma a reduzir o consumo energético, uma vez que o sector absorve 41% da energia consumida na UE. Para este efeito, a UE tem vindo a legislar para cumprir os objetivos estabelecidos para 2020. Neste contexto, a publicação da Diretiva nº 2010/31/EU foi um esforço importante, sendo esta relativa ao desempenho energético dos edifícios. Esta Diretiva foi transposta para Portugal, com a publicação do Decreto-Lei nº 118/2013 que implementou o Sistema de Certificação Energética de Edifícios, SCE, englobando num único diploma os regulamentos para os edifícios residenciais e de serviços, REH e RECS, respetivamente. No presente estudo foi realizada uma análise de três edifícios, com o objetivo de propor medidas que pudessem contribuir para a redução da respetiva fatura energética. Para tal, foram recolhidos dados relativos às características construtivas dos edifícios, aos seus equipamentos energéticos e ao correspondente perfil de utilização. Após análise da informação recolhida foram identificadas possibilidades de alteração com impacto no consumo de energia. Foram então propostas diversas medidas de alteração, tais como, a substituição dos envidraçados, aplicação de isolamento térmico pelo exterior, substituição dos equipamentos de iluminação, instalação de sistemas solares térmicos para AQS, substituição de caldeiras a gás propano, por outras a pellets e instalação de sistemas solares fotovoltaicos. | dc.description.abstract | The world population growth, its relationship with the energy demand and the recent economic crisis have made energy efficiency a current issue with great importance. Especially in the building sector it has become imperious to take concrete measures in order to reduce energy consumption, since the sector is responsible in 41% of the final energy consumed in the EU. In that way, the EU has been legislating to meet the targets set for 2020. The publication of Directive No. 2010/31 / EU was a major effort to that goal, which is dedicated to the energy performance of buildings. This Directive was transposed to the Portuguese law with the publication of Decree-Law No. 118/2013 which implemented a method for building energy certification, SCE, composed by two major regulations, REH and RECS, for residential and commercial buildings, respectively. In this study an analysis was made to three buildings, with the aim to propose measures that can contribute to reducing these buildings energy bills. To do that, data was collected concerning the constructive characteristics of the buildings, its energy consumption equipment and the corresponding usage profile. After analysis of the collected information, changing possibilities were identified which could have impact on energy consumption. There were then proposed changing measures such as the replacement of the glazing, application of external thermal insulation, replacement of lighting equipment, installation of a solar thermal system for hot water and replacing the existing propane gas boiler by a pellets one. It has been estimated the cost of implementing those measures and, whenever possible, evaluated the gains from their application. | eng |
