Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem por objetivo geral verificar a influência da disciplina de Educação Física
nos níveis de Aptidão Física dos Alunos do 12º ano de escolaridade do Agrupamento de Escolas
de Pinhel em dois momentos específicos de avaliação – Início e Final do ano letivo 20014/15 e
se há diferenças significativas nos resultados obtidos, utilizando a bateria de testes de Aptidão
Física Fitnessgram.
A amostra utilizada neste estudo experimental é composta por 25 alunos do 12.º ano que
frequentam o Agrupamento de Escolas de Pinhel, 14 alunas e 11 alunos com idades
compreendidas entre os 16 e os 20 anos.
Após a respetiva fundamentação teórica de enquadramento ao problema, realizou-se o estudo
prático de carácter quasi – experimental, cujo instrumentarium – o protocolo de avaliação da
Aptidão Física Fitnessgram é aplicado à nossa amostra.
Os dados foram tratados recorrendo ao programa informático Statistical Package for the Social
Sciences (SPSS) versão 15.0. Procedeu-se à análise exploratória dos dados, observando com
particular atenção os valores da média, da média tripartida, do desvio padrão, do erro padrão
da média, do achatamento e da curtose. Foi ainda realizado o teste de Kolmogorov-smirnov.
Os resultados por nós obtidos ao nível da comparação entre os dois momentos de avaliação,
foram em muitos casos ao encontro do que defendem os teóricos, confirmando-se algumas das
premissas estabelecidas em consonância com a fundamentação teórica.
Confirma-se que os alunos do Género Masculino apresentam níveis de Aptidão Física dentro do
considerado pela bateria de testes Fitnessgram como Zona Saudável de Aptidão Física em
relação ao Género Feminino verificámos que não há normalidade nos testes Vaivém e Senta e
Alcança (perna esquerda e direita estendidas), todos os outros apresentam resultados dentro
dos parâmetros descritos na bateria de testes Fitnessgram. Em relação ao Género Masculino, os
níveis de Aptidão Física, encontram-se dentro dos parâmetros descritos na bateria de testes
Fitnessgram, sendo por isso mesmo considerados normais.
Ao nível dos resultados obtidos na comparação dos dois momentos de avaliação dos alunos do
Género Feminino:
Confirma-se que os alunos do Género Feminino demonstraram possuir um desempenho nos
testes realizados da Bateria Fitnessgram significativamente superiores no segundo momento de
avaliação quando comparados com o primeiro nos testes: Vaivém, Senta e Alcança Direita e Estendida, Força Abdominal, Extensão de Braços., onde encontrámos diferenças
estatisticamente significativas.
Confirma-se ainda que nos alunos do Género Masculino, encontrámos diferenças
estatisticamente significativas apenas no teste Senta e Alcança Esquerda Estendida.
This study has the objective to verify the influence of Physical Education in the levels of physical fitness of the 12th grade students of Pinhel Group of Schools in two specific time points - Beginning and end of the school year 20014/15 and if there are significant differences in the results obtained using the battery Fitness Physical Fitnessgram testing. The sample used in this experimental study consists of 25 students of the 12th grade who attend Pinhel Group of Schools, 14 girls and 11 boyss aged between 16 and 20 years. After the respective theoretical foundation framing the problem, there was the practical study of nature quasi - experimental, whose instrumentarium - the evaluation protocol Fitnessgram physical fitness is applied to the sample. The data were analyzed using the computer program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 15.0. Proceeded to exploratory data analysis, noting with particular attention the average scores of the tripartite average, standard deviation, standard error of the mean, flattening and kurtosis. It was also performed the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The results we obtained in terms of comparison between the two time points, were in many cases to meet the defending theorists, confirming some of the assumptions set out in line with the theoretical foundation. It is confirmed that the Male Gender students present levels of Physical Fitness in the considered by the Fitnessgram test battery as Healthy Zone Physical Fitness in relation to Gender Female verified that there is no normality in testing shuttle and Sit and Reach (left leg and right Extended), all other results presented within the parameters described in the battery Fitnessgram tests. Regarding the Gender Male, levels of Physical Fitness, are within the parameters described in the battery Fitnessgram tests, so it is even considered normal. In terms of results obtained in the comparison of the two time points of the Gender Female students: It is confirmed that the students of Gender Female shown to have performance in tests of significantly higher Fitnessgram battery in the second assessment compared to the first in the tests: Shuttle, Sit and Reach Right and Extended, Abdominal Strength, Arms Extension. where we found statistically significant differences. It is also confirmed that the students Gender Male, we found statistically significant differences only in the Sit and Reach Left Extended test.
