| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação encontra-se inserida na unidade curricular Estágio, tendo sido realizada para a obtenção de grau de Mestre em Ciências Farmacêuticas pela Universidade da Beira Interior. Encontra-se divida em dois capítulos: o primeiro capítulo referente à componente investigação, consistindo numa revisão narrativa sobre a dispensa de medicamentos ao domicílio ou através da internet em Portugal e o segundo capítulo correspondente ao relatório do estágio curricular em farmácia comunitária realizado na Farmácia Luciano & Matos. O primeiro capítulo do documento introduz-se com um enquadramento do serviço de dispensa de medicamentos ao domicílio e através da internet no setor da farmácia, analisando-se a situação em Portugal e em alguns países da União Europeia. Ao longo do capítulo aborda-se a influência que a eFarmácia poderá ter nestes serviços, por meio da telefarmácia e de plataformas que melhorem a gestão de doenças crónicas, assim como os benefícios e desafios que esta dispensa apresenta face à dispensa usual em farmácia comunitária. Neste campo uma das maiores preocupações passa pela segurança dos medicamentos disponíveis na internet, encontrando-se frequentemente medicamentos de prescrição médica e falsificados no comércio eletrónico online. Investigaram-se ainda soluções e atenuantes em utilização perante os problemas encontrados nestes serviços e outras com aplicabilidade futura, verificando-se a importância do farmacêutico na educação dos utentes. | dc.description.abstract | This dissertation is integrated into the Internship curricular unit and it has been developed to obtain a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences by the University of Beira Interior. The document is divided into two chapters: the first one referring to a research component, a narrative review of medicine dispensation by home delivery, or by using the internet in Portugal and the second chapter corresponds to the report of the curricular internship made in the community pharmacy - Farmácia Luciano & Matos. The first chapter of the document approaches the service of dispensing medicines at home and over the internet in the pharmacy sector, analysing the situation in Portugal and in some other countries of the European Union. Throughout the chapter, it is studied the influence that the ePharmacy may have on these services with the telepharmacy and platforms that improve the management of chronic diseases. The benefits and challenges are also approached in relation to the usual dispensation in community pharmacies. Being that, one of the biggest concerns in this matter is the safety of medicines freely available in eCommerce, some of them classified as prescription medicines and others frequently found with a counterfeit nature. We also investigated solutions and mitigations for current problems identified in these services, and others with promising future applicability. Verifying that the pharmacist has an important role in the education of users. The second chapter describes the curricular internship developed at the Farmácia Luciano & Matos, under the guidance of Dr. Maria Helena Amado, between September 16, 2019, and January 24, 2020, describing the professional experience carried out. | eng |
