Abstract(s)
This dissertation is based on the analysis of dyslexic individuals, using the ADEMd test which has the purpose of examining eye movements and attention span while reading. In this investigation we analyzed a sample of 30 dyslexic individuals and the respective control group, with 30 subjects, in order to ascertain the possible differences between the normal subjects and the ones with dyslexia in the ADEMd test. We also tried to identify the specific errors made by dyslexics when they were taking the test. After all data collected and statistically processed we observed that there were relevant statistical changes between the groups. In particular, the dyslexic group had longer reading times, too many hesitations and had more errors, mostly inversion errors which are characteristic of dyslexic individuals.
