Esta dissertação incide sobre as tecnologias de cogeração e trigeração, o correspondente enquadramento jurídico, e aplicações à indústria. É hoje possível através de diversas tecnologias de cogeração e trigeração obter melhorias na eficiência energética. As transformações no sector energético apontam para novos investimentos em sistemas de cogeração e trigeração, originando assim novos agentes de capital privado. Um caso de estudo, baseado na Indústria de Serração de Madeira e Mobiliário, é apresentado nesta dissertação.
This dissertation focuses on the technologies of cogeneration and trigeneration, the corresponding legal framework, and applications for industry. It is now possible through various technologies of cogeneration and trigeneration to achieve improvements in energy efficiency. The changes in the energy sector point to new investments in cogeneration and trigeneration systems, therefore creating new agents of private capital. A case study, based on the Wood and Furniture Industry, is presented in this dissertation.
