Abstract(s)
Este relatório é constítuido por duas partes. Na primeira abordamos o nosso percurso desde a
formação inicial até à formação e experiência adquirida no momento atual.
Na segunda parte realizamos um estudo de investigação que surge da necessidade de analisar
O Contributo da Educação Física para os Projetos Educativos dos Agrupamentos de Escolas do
Concelho de Castelo Branco e tem como principal objetivo, analisar as representações que os
seus Diretores escolares revelam sobre a disciplina de Educação Física (EF) e o seu contributo
no contexto da conceção, operacionalização e implementação do Projeto Educativo (PE).
O Projeto Educativo (PE) é o documento que legitima a orientação educativa dos
agrupamentos de escolas ou de escolas não agrupadas, planeado para um horizonte de três
anos e elaborado de forma participada, envolvendo todos os atores das comunidades
educativas. Metodologicamente recorremos ao método qualitativo e recolhemos através da
entrevista a opinião dos quatro Diretores dos Agrupamentos de Escolas do Concelho de
Castelo Branco.
Os PE(s) são instrumentos participados pela disciplina de EF em todas as suas fases de
construção. Os Diretores escolares consideram a disciplina importante no currículo dos
alunos, contribuindo para a sua formação integral. Estes, para além de associarem a
disciplina à libertação da carga cognitiva e desenvolvimento da atividade física, o que mais
valorizam são os aspetos sociais, como o respeito pelos outros e pelas regras, assim como a
aquisição de competências essenciais para o futuro dos alunos. Vêm como mais-valia escolar a
organização e realização de atividades extracurriculares na escola, principalmente atividades
diversificadas e do desporto escolar. A maioria entende que a a EF no 1ºciclo é o parente
pobre, atribuindo o facto à falta de lecionação desta matéria pelos professores titulares que
remetem os seus conteúdos para as Atividades de Enriquecimento Curricular.
This report is made up of two parts. In the first one we approach our journey from the initial formation to the formation and experience acquired in the present moment. In the second part we carry out a research study that arises from the need to analyze The Contribution of Physical Education to the Educational Projects of the Groupings of Schools of the Municipality of Castelo Branco and its main objective is to analyze the representations that its School Directors reveal about the discipline of Physical Education (PE) and its contribution in the context of the design, operationalization and implementation of the Educational Project (PE). The Educational Project (PE) is the document that legitimizes the educational orientation of groups of schools or non-grouped schools, planned for a three-year horizon and elaborated in an invested way, involving all the actors of the educational communities. Methodologically we used the qualitative method and we collected through the interview the opinion of the four Directors of the Clusters of Schools of the Municipality of Castelo Branco. PE (s) are instruments that participate in the discipline of EF in all its phases of construction. The school principals consider the discipline to be important in the students' curriculum, contributing to their integral formation. In addition to associating the discipline with the liberation of the cognitive load and the development of physical activity, what they value most are the social aspects, such as respect for others and the rules, as well as the acquisition of essential competences for the students' future. As a school surplus, the organization and accomplishment of extracurricular activities in the school, mainly diversified activities and the school sport. Most believe that EF in the first cycle is the poor relative, attributing the fact to the lack of teaching of this subject by the titular teachers who send their contents to the Curriculum Enrichment Activities.
