Abstract(s)
Através da análise comparativa de duas obras narrativas tão distintas, mas que dizem tanto
sobre o diálogo com os jovens de cada país no tocante acerca da educação e do repasse de valores
cidadãos e democráticos. Parte-se do pressuposto de que a educação e a devida instrução pode
conduzir um bom cidadão a um caminho ainda melhor, e que a leitura cumpre um papel
fundamental não só no repasse de valores culturais, mas na perspectiva de medida, enquanto
expressão cultural, do nível de profundidade com que se dialoga o assunto das ditaduras e
transições democráticas entre os jovens tanto no Brasil quanto em Portugal.
Cada expressão literária aqui analisada tem propósito em ser diferente uma da outra, uma é
um álbum de banda desenhada e a outra é um romance juvenil brasileira, e são frutos de
momentos históricos que definiram maior ou menor grau de abertura em debater temas densos.
Through the comparative analysis of two different narrative books this analysis will compare the level of depth with which the issue of democratic transitions and dictatorships are discussed among young people in both Brazil and Portugal. That also say so much about the dialogue with the youth of each country, and it is assumed that proper education can lead a good citizen to an even better path, and that reading plays a fundamental role not only in passing on cultural values, but in the perspective of measurement, as a cultural expression so besides mesuring the quality of dialogues by cultural censorship, it is possible to mark the education and the passing on of citizens and democratic values. Each literary expression analyzed here has the purpose of being different from each other, one is a comic book album and the other is a Brazilian youth novel, and are the result of historical moments that defined a greater or lesser degree of openness in debating dense themes.
