Abstract(s)
O estágio curricular, realizado na clínica Ocular EyeCare, possibilitou o contato inicial com o mercado de trabalho, através de uma ligação entre o sistema educativo e o mundo do trabalho. Durante o estágio, tinha-se ao dispor o material necessário ao bom desenvolvimento de competências na Optometria, o que proporcionou formação clínica em optometria pediátrica, optometria geriátrica, visão binocular, contactologia, baixa visão e saúde ocular.
Durante o mesmo, surgiram diversos casos clínicos de diferentes graus de complexidade. No presente relatório são apresentados três desses casos, bem como a solução para cada um e respetiva análise e discussão.
The curricular internship, accomplished at the Ocular Eye Care clinic, allowed the initial contact with the labor market, through a connection between the educational system and the business market. During the internship, we had the necessary material to develop skills in Optometry, which provided clinical training in pediatric optometry, geriatric optometry, binocular vision, contact lenses, low vision and eye health. Throughout the same period, several clinical cases occured, with various degrees of complexity. This report contains three of those cases, as well as the solution to each case and their analysis and discussion.
