Abstract(s)

The instruments used were: the Sociodemographic Questionnaire, the Kessler Psychological Malaise Scale (K6) and the Hedonic and Eudaimonic and Extrinsic Motives Scale for Activities (HEEMA). The results indicate statistically significant differences between the variable hedonia and the variable age, which can be concluded that women with different ages have different levels of hedonia. With regard to psychological distress, there are statistically significant differences depending on both marital status and educational qualifications, this means that women with different types of marital status and educational qualifications, present differences in relation to psychological distress. Finally, no statistically significant relationship between psychological distress and wellbeing (eudaimonic, hedonic and extrinsic motives) was found.
